The Edinburgh Medical
School develops students to become caring, competent, reflective and confident
medical practitioners who can work in a wide range of scientific, clinical,
hospital-based and community environments. The Bachelors of Medicine and
Surgery (MBChB) degree is six years, and includes an academic year of
full-time, research-based study in Year 3. The medical degree curriculum is reviewed and developed on an on-going basis and a Public Evening Talk and open discussions was held on 23 January 2019 at Chancellor's Building, Edinburgh BioQuarter.
