In this series of short videos, final year students of European languages share their language learning stories. They tell us why they chose to study languages and what they hope to do in the future. They also shares some highlights of their Year Abroad in one or more European cities.
The videos were kindly filmed by the students in 2023 and 2024 as part of a joint project on the benefits of language learning for the City of Edinburgh Council and the University of Edinburgh. They are designed for use by teachers and other educators working with young language learners in schools, and selected videos can only be used for this purpose. See individual videos for details.
