Yello!, the young people advising the Improving Justice in Child Contact project wanted children and young people affected by domestic abuse to know that they are not alone. They designed two animations at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, as they knew this would be a particularly isolating and confusing time for young people. This updated version is not specific to COVID-19, but aimed at all young people experiencing domestic abuse in their relationships.
This video has captions in English. Young people in the different IJCC project countries are now working with the project to produce versions in the different project languages and with support information for the different countries.
Young people affected by domestic abuse can access support in Scotland from Childline (www.childline.org.uk, 0800 1111) and Scotland's Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriage Helpline (www.sdafmh.org.uk, 0800 0127 1234).
