This event is part of a series of free public events running across Scotland in Summer 2018, titled JRS Spark: Brexit and Scotland in a Nutshell. These events, funded by the Clark Foundation for Legal Education, aim to encourage informed public debate on the consequences of Brexit and specifically whether, and how, Scots law may be transformed by it, by inviting panels of academics and legal experts to briefly share their thoughts, and then invite questions and debate from the audience.
This event is hosted by Centre for Research on Families and Relationships at the University of Edinburgh, and co-sponsered by Together Scotland and will focus on Brexit and children's rights.
The event was chaired by Jack Norquoy, MSYP for Orkney. Confirmed speakers include: Juliet Harris, Director, Together Scotland and Andy Sirel, Associate, JustRight Scotland.
