Hear from Rebecca about her experience working for the Scottish Government as an Assistant Programme Manager. Rebecca joined the Scottish Government in March 2021 as an Assistant Programme Manager in the Covid Safety and Compliance Programme, where her role involved supporting teams across a wide range of policy areas in government including education, transport, culture, events and sport. This included work on the response to the Omicron wave of the pandemic in December 2021. In early 2022 she moved to the Directorate for Early Learning and Childcare to take up the role of Team Leader, heading up a team designing and delivering new early learning and childcare policy.
