Scotland’s route to recovery from Covid-19 depends on all members of society helping reduce the spread of the virus and minimise further disruptions to our lives.
Scientists from the Roslin Institute at the University of Edinburgh, have created a Covid-19 Tracking & Modelling for Scotland dashboard.
The dashboard, funded by the Data Driven Innovation (DDI) initiative, provides interactive maps to monitor Covid-19 infection rates for each 1km2 in Scotland highlighting local outbreaks and areas of high infection risk. It features e.g. detailed analytics and time trends for Covid-19 infection, hospitalisation and death rates in Scotland, as well as short-term projections for hospitalisation rates.
The researchers hope the dashboard will aid the government, health care professionals, local institutions and businesses, and also the general public to make informed decisions on their next steps to keep themselves and Scotland safe from Covid-19.
In this life online demo the dashboard developer team will provide a detailed guide through the different features of the dashboard and answer any questions that may arise.
