Data and AI ethics is a one-hour webinar designed to introduce staff and students to the basic concepts.
Using five genuine and timely data and AI case-studies, the three main philosophical viewpoints, namely deontological, utilitarianism and virtue ethics will be looked at and discussed for each case.
Learners should be prepared to discuss which viewpoint they feel is 'best' or 'most ethical', in the context of each case-study.
