Using flowers to make a pH indicator!
Join Dr Cameron to make your very own pH indicator from things in nature - this time we use Bluebells. Watch the blue colour from the flowers change when we add it to a range of things from your kitchen. You can try this with any blue or red flowers.
For this experiment you will need: a food blender, Bluebell petals, water and a range of kitchen products, for example bleach, lemon juice, kitchen cleaner - you can try any kitchen cleaning products or drinks or food. You will also need something to test these things out in, for example an empty strepsils or paracetamol pack (ask an adult first!), a dropper or syringe.
Show me photographs of your results!
