The seminar ‘til the cows come home: a well-worn path or a new trajectory? Exploring why livestock matter in sustainable development' was given on Wednesday 19th February 2020. Dr. Tarawali elaborated on the multi-faceted roles that livestock play for the sustainable development goals, presenting evidence and arguing the case for sustainable livestock to have an enhanced place in agriculture and other investment portfolios. It’s important to recognize the different realities ‘on the ground’ and ensure that trajectories of change do not leave behind or disadvantage millions of people for whom livestock and livestock products really matter.
