LIVING WELL, AND DYING WELL, IN THE AGE OF COVID
Until the mid 20th Century everyone lived with the spectre of premature death from infectious disease. For wealthy nations that threat had all but disappeared, until 2020. Has COVID awoken us from our complacent and hubristic slumbers, alerted us to our mortality and prompted a reassessment of our values? We will look at issues around compulsory vaccination, discuss the social and economic impact on future generations and how COVID and lockdown have affected families.
