at Careers Service I support with the running of the Employ.ed on Campus
programme and in this video I'm going to offer guidance on where to find Employ.ed
on Campus internships and offer you some information about how to apply.

which you can access by scanning the QR code on this screen.

Employed on Campus internships will be advertised on MyCareerHub and you can
find all of the rules by searching #Edsummerinterns interns.

By searching this hashtag, you will also find other summer internship roles at
the university.

For example, the Information Services Group are hiring interns this summer and
searching #Edsummerinterns on MyCareerHub will bring up their opportunities
too.

The QR code on the screen will take you through to my career hub with the
search results for #Edsummerinterns on the Employ.ed on Campus MyCareerHub adverts
there will be a How to apply button.

Once you click this, you will see a link which will take you through to the
student job portal where you will submit your cover letter and your CV in order
to apply.

You will then be asked to enter an email address.

It's important to note that all communications during the recruitment period

about your progression with this post will be sent to this email address.

If you experience any issues with the job portal then you should contact HR who
will be able to support.

If you are already an employee at the university or have held a previous
position at the university, you should apply as an employee as you already have
a profile on the system and won't be required to build a new one.

To apply as an employee, when you're on the Student job site, select the menu
button next to My Profile in the top right corner, then select I am an Employee
from the list of options.

You will then be asked to log in and from here will be able to apply for the
internships you're interested in, using your already set up staff profile.

If you experience any issues applying as an employee, please contact HR whose
details are at the bottom of this screen.

When you apply, use one of the following browsers, so Google Chrome, Firefox,
Safari, or Edge.

Please avoid using Internet Explorer as issues have been flagged in the past
where students have used this browser when applying and applications have not
saved successfully.
