Our centenary events continued on 25th January with a conversation between alumna and former staff member, Judith Brearley, and BSc programme director Ruth Forbes.
This was a great opportunity to learn about aspects of social work education history from one of its key participants and leaders. Not only was Judith an alumna of the social work programme at Edinburgh, but she regailed us with stories of the developments in psychodynamic social work over the years, including the part the university played in the development of the Scottish Institute of Human Relations and also the GP practice unit in Edinburgh.
