Main problems and challenges of Wikidata

Wikidata is growing and expanding. So it is inevitably facing different problems and challenges. Aim of the discussion is at least to identify these problems and challenges. Main themes may be:

scalability - both macro (database) and micro (item) level
vandalism - as internal (incorrect data) and external problem (Wikidata credibility)
multilinguality - fact or just a dream
references - necessary evil or essential component
