This Topic reconciles the Fourier Series and Fourier Transform, by
bringing the analysis techniques together through considering the
Fourier Transform of a Fourier Series, using the definition of the Dirac
Delta impulse functions. The Topic also considers the Fourier transform
of the complex phasor, as well as the Fourier transform of a sinusoid
and co-sinusoid. This Topic provides the theory needed to properly
understand some other elements in the course, but is not needed for
anyone who is just interested in the key concepts. The Topic also
includes a summary of the concepts around Fourier transform theory
elsewhere, although this summary is also available in the mid-course
summary video.
