What makes people resilient to depression?
Depression is a very common psychiatric disorder but also one of the least studied. Past research tried to pin down the reasons that led people to depression. However, the factors that contribute to this condition are very complex. The STRADL (Stratifying Resilience and Depression Longitudinally) project, funded by the Wellcome Trust, changes the paradigm and focuses on what it is that makes people resilient.
