This session will be about Moray House Community Events. These are events organised by students and staff for students and staff. Moray House has a wonderfully diverse community and these events enable you to be a part of that. They also give you the chance to meet students studying on different programmes and from a range of different backgrounds. They are totally voluntary to attend, there are chances to discuss with others, but you can also just sit back and listen if you prefer. The events typically cover topics connected to languages, cultures and wellbeing. In our recent set of talks there were sessions focusing on Harry Potter (Made in Edinburgh!), Emoji across Cultures, Polish Food, Chinese Calligraphy and Tea Ceremony, Expressing Emotions in Different Languages, and much more. Come along to this session during induction week to hear more about how you can take part in (and possibly also contribute to) these events.
