Keen to make a difference at the University, in Edinburgh or the wider community? You are not alone. In fact, there are over 600 staff and student members who are working to make a positive change in their places of work, residence and study. Sustainability Champions benefit from:
The first event of the new term is our Sustainability Champions Gathering, hosted by the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability. Whether you’re new to the network and looking to get started, or an active Champion looking for your next great idea, this event has something for you. Joining us will be climate activist and zero waste campaigner, Laura Young (Less Waste Laura). She’ll be talking us through how she is embracing a climate conscious lifestyle and how you can do the same. Attendees will also be given the opportunity to shape our upcoming campaign of action, so be prepared for interaction with your fellow Champions.
