As part of UK Black History Month 2021, the Business School hosted Toni Wilson to address the legacy of slavery impacts Black life in organisations today.
In this talk, Toni describes how, although slavery institutionalized the notion of racial inequality, Black people have learned to do more than persevere and survive. This session explores the genesis of slavery and the legacy of achievements that have empowered a people that slavery tried to deny.
