This video explains the role of signal processing in powering modern
communications, entertainment, transportation, and healthcare systems,
in addition to numerous industrial and defence applications. It explains
why signal processing techniques have grown substantially over the past
few decades in terms of improvements in signal processing algorithms as
well as other key enabling technologies, such as low-power computing
platforms, sensor technologies, and advances in battery technology.
