In this talk, Lindy Richardson, Programme Director of the Textiles Collection at ECA, talks about the history of the Needlework Development Scheme (NDS) and the uses of the embroidery collection today, including with students, community groups and in the Scottish Prison Service. Lindy also talks about the work that has been done to create handling samples of the collection by using 3D printing and other methods.
