Presenter: Prof Harry Campbell
Most research requires funding - to hire staff, access data, implement research activities and disseminate findings - therefore success in obtaining grant funding is a core academic skill. This is something that can partly be learned through an understanding of the principles of study design but there are also aspects of grant writing that require other skills and knowledge.
Prof Harry Campbell is a Professor of Epidemiology who has experience serving on grant awarding committees at the national, regional and global levels and has served on both project / programme grant and on fellowship committees.
