This event will explore the role of nature-based solutions in mitigating the climate crisis.
The climate crisis is no longer a distant threat but rather a global concern that is more imminent than ever. With the clock ticking to curb the impacts of climate change, significant action must be agreed upon at an international level to minimise the rise of global temperatures. Which solutions might be the most effective in reaching climate neutrality goals and mitigating climate change? This event will explore why and how nature-based solutions play a big role in reducing risks posed by climate change, whilst helping humanity and wildlife adapt to the (very real) environmental challenges we face in the years and decades to come.
This event is open to University of Edinburgh students and staff
