This video is part of the Innovating with Open Knowledge series at The University of Edinburgh.
Interview with Emma Fraser, Bookbinder and Conservator, who uses research daily to inform her work as well as a resource for teaching.
This case study explores the use of open resources, and especially of visual research for applying in crafts and conservation. Emma Fraser uses open research resources in her day to day work. Most of the image research is accessed through aggregated sources, and some of this will comes directly from the University of Edinburgh.
This video (1 of 4) explores the context of visual research for crafts, bookbinding and conservation. However, one could easily use the same image resources for any number of creative and commercial outputs.
