Recording from the "Web of Science - Trusted Discovery" session on Monday 24th May 2021 at the Digital Skills Festival. The session was presented by Lisa Muren, Solution Consultant at Clarivate and introduced by Catherine Koppe from the Digital Skills & Training Team.
With the increase of predatory journals and fake articles,
finding trusted peer reviewed articles can be a challenge. Using
Clarivate's Web of Science, this session shows you, not only how to
discover these publications, but also how to quickly get an understanding
of a research area, including who are the key contributors and which
are the most influential.
This session includes a demonstration
using the Web of Science platform. The demo focuses on how users
can easily discover influential research and get a bigger understanding
of a research area by utilizing the platform's different functions.
Topics covered include:
- Discovery (basic & advanced search)
- Analysis & filtering
- Staying up to date on research
