Tackling Elitism in collaboration with staff from the CAHSS Widening
Participation Network ran a full-day event comprised of panel speakers,
networking and activity stalls as an opportunity to network and engage
with staff and students across the university.
The
Widening the Student Network project aims to create a tangible
opportunity for enhancing collaboration, communication, and support
between students from non-traditional, under-represented backgrounds and
staff who are themselves also from diverse backgrounds, or who are
interested in supporting this campaign. This project aims to celebrate
the importance and validity of The University of Edinburgh’s diverse
student population and showcase existing initiatives and support
available to all students.
