Are you interested in how the media works? Do you get frustrated by what you read and see in the news? Do you want to help journalists report your subject better? Why is it important anyway and how can it help your career? Fiona Fox, Chair of the Science Media Centre, was the keynote speaker at this afternoon seminar on how to get the best from working with the news media. Her talk was followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A with University of Edinburgh colleagues who have previous experience of hitting the headlines, as well as representatives from the University press office and a working journalist.
