The deep sea is the last frontier on Earth, but it's not immune to human activities or global change. From 2016-20 ATLAS worked across Europe, Canada and the USA to study deep-sea Atlantic ecosystems. We took natural science, social and economic approaches to understanding these ecosystems and how people relate to them. I'll summarise our work and how we got our findings into policy processes at the United Nations and elsewhere.
