Psoriasis is an inflammatory disorder, with a greatly increased blood flow to plaques. So why does is sometimes look white? Is there a 'white chromophore'? Or is there another explanation?
I describe three of the major changes in clinical practice over the last 30 years: the move to outpatient therapy; the introduction of more potent drugs; and the development of dermatological surgery.
