About the webinar
The webinar titled "National Data Assets & Opportunities for Collaboration across the UK Nations and Beyond" took place online on the 22 September 2022. The webinar aimed to raise awareness of the innovative work done by the DaC-VaP-2 project, a collaboration led by the University of Edinburgh that included institutions and contributors from all four UK nations. Here, researchers from Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales provided a brief overviews of the national data assets they used to provide population-level data on COVID-19, in order to conduct pooled UK-wide analyses. The webinar also touched on how the team went about conducting these analyses, developing domestic and international partnerships and incorporating patient and public views into their research.
