Geography helps us understand how the planet works.
Not only can we learn about past environments, but we can plan for future environments and reduce the impact we have on the planet. Our Undergraduate Geography students embarked on recent trip to learn essential skills in field-based research. Some activities included learning how to gauge river flow and check water quality, forestry sampling techniques and mapping glacial land forms.
