Description: PICO(S) is well-known as a framework for creating an “answerable question” but has limited applicability where the research question is not about effectiveness of a therapeutic intervention. In this workshop, we will have a combination of practical group activity mapping research topics to question frameworks, and a presentation summarising question frameworks such as PICO and alternatives (e.g. PEO, SPIDER) that can work for other question types or contexts.
