The University of Edinburgh participates in the Hedgehog Friendly Campus Campaign, an initiative for universities and colleges across the UK to improve their campuses for hedgehogs and other wildlife. This video was taken during a hedgehog footprint tunnel making workshop and survey at Pollock Halls in May 2021. It introduces the campaign and provides details on how to make and prepare hedgehog tunnels for surveying, one of many biodiversity activities taking place on our campuses. Estates Landscaping undertakes and supports all of this work. The campaign is coordinated by the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability.
